How to create a project of a country house: what to take into account

September 16, 2019

Everyone dreams of a country house. But when the means to implement this dream appear in life, there are many difficulties. The first of them is the creation of the Dream Home project.

The project of the future house is a compromise between the wishes of the customer and the capabilities of the architect. They will have to spend a lot of time together to come to a single idea of what the “Dream House” will be.

First, you should decide on preferred style. The choice of style is affected by three main factors: the wishes of the customer, the surrounding environment and the functional purpose of the building. Often, when expressing their wishes, customers replace concepts, for example, they say that they would like a house in a classic style, implying by this, the presence of wooden furniture and massive facades inherent in baroque.

And even the most competent architects will not be able to read your thoughts and create a house in the classical style. Therefore, so that there are no replacement of concepts, we will outline the main features characteristic of the main architectural styles: modern – asymmetry, flexible lines, non -standard arrangement of windows and doors, massive forged lattices, lack of screaming shades; high-tech-pragmatism, the use of straight lines, functional devices (elevators, etc.), decentralized lighting, the predominance of silver shades; Classicism – the logic of forms, lack of excesses, antiquity; Neoclassicism – observance of proportions, sophistication of a color palette, a minimum of decorative elements.
