PHOTO TIRE – this is a ceramic facing tile with a photo image on its surface. Such tiles can be used for interior decor, both in the form of separate tiles, and in the form of a large photo image consisting of a set of photo stages. The area of paintings using a photo tile can reach several square meters. The most popular is the photo tile in the design of the bathroom. The standard photo tape is made of ceramics or hot glass, which increases its strength and resistance to external factors and scratches. Application of the image to the surface of the tiles is carried out using special technology. A layer of polymer coating is applied to the ceramic or glass surface of the tile, after which the paint is introduced into the polymer layer. Due to moisture resistance, photo tile can be an excellent solution for decoration of bathrooms, showers, as well as parts of the walls of the premises where moisture may be present, such as the wall above the sink or stove in the kitchen. In the manufacture of a photo tile for a photo image, the reverse side of each tile from the series is marked with numbers that indicate its future position in the general image. The first digit corresponds to the number of the row (top to bottom), the second – the number of tiles in the row (from leve to the right). This marking greatly simplifies the installation of tiles, which ultimately boils down to a simple arrangement of photo treads according to numbering. To perform the installation of a photo tile, you can use standard glue for ceramic tiles. Joints are wiped with a transparent silicone. Transparent silicone is also used when installing tiles on drywall or wooden surface.
