PVC frequently used in the modern production of PVC double -glazed windows (polyvinyl chloride) has been known for science for quite some time – since 1931. Previously, it was carried out on the basis of coal, stone salt and lime, now it is 44% component of petrochemistry, in particular, ethylene.
Despite the use of oil products in the production of oil products, PVC cannot be considered harmful to human health. Plastic affects the environmental situation several times less than damage or vegetables and fruits containing carcinogens are damaged by the human body.
In the production of window profiles, in addition to PVC, which is a white powder mixture, additives (stabilizers, polymer reagents, softeners, fillers, plasticizers, pigments) in various combinations and proportions are used. The choice of additives depends on the processing technology and the final properties of the finished product. As a result, the finest packaging film and a strong tap pipe can be obtained.
The strength and reliability of window structures from PVC are proved by time. The properties of polyvinyl chloride to maintain resistance to moisture, high and low temperatures, to ensure, when leaving, the full -fledged protection of the house from external factors is the main argument when choosing a material for window frames (in comparison, for example, with wood frames).
