The principle of operation of the stripbox is based on the following: inside the device there are reflective elements, one of the walls is covered with a special fabric, which evenly distributes a stream of light directed at it from reflectors. A source of lighting is placed through a special hole in the stripbox. Stripboxes are mainly used for shooting in full growth.
Due to the closed structure, this device avoids glare and losing light stream power. The best lighting is given by the use of high -quality stripboxes in conjunction with a powerful light source (for example, Profoto D1 or analogues).
