Excursion to the legendary city of Helsingeru, whose fortress was mentioned in Shakespeare’s works
In addition to the legend, Helsingur attracts tourists with its location: it is at the extreme tip of the island of Zealand, in the narrowest place of the eresunn bay.
The fixed Helinger story begins in 1231. For several centuries it was an ordinary fishing village. But in the first half of the 15th century, on the orders of King Eric Pomeranian, the settlement began to be built up with stone houses, and next to him the Croena Castle was erected, in 1580 it was renamed Kronborg.
It is this fortress of the Dwes, mentioned with Shakespeare, that is the sign of Helsinger, which is often visited by tourists who make tours in Scandinavia. There is currently the Marine Museum.
