Boisky forest and other attractions of the city of Lilu
The main place in Lille is occupied by the “BULOSKY FOREST”, where the zoo and fortress are located. The zoo occupies about 3.5 hectares and more than 400 animals live on its territory. Several rare species of bats and birds live here. Of the rare species of plants, Montpellier’s maple, gigantic sequoia, and Larisio pine are distinguished here. There are many gardens and parks in some of which are located fields for playing golf.
In the old part of Lille, four universities, museums, galleries, souvenir shops, cinemas, cozy cafes and restaurants are concentrated. Thanks to the large number of museums, art galleries and other cultural institutions, the city was declared in 2004 the cultural capital of Europe. Then all the old buildings located in Lille were reconstructed.
